It started with frustration.

Not just mine—but a frustration I think a lot of us feel, even if we can’t always name it. I was scrolling through the news, half-conscious, watching the latest outrage unfold. Yesterday’s villain was today’s hero. More people to blame—to revile and hate. Opinions flipped. Narratives shifted. And underneath it all, one constant:

I was being told what to think.

It wasn’t just the headlines that upset me. It was the echo chambers. The scripted outrage. The way every story came preloaded with a “correct” opinion—and if you questioned it, you were labeled, dismissed, and canceled. There was no space to wonder, to wrestle with complex questions—no space to ask, why?

I was tired of the outrage. I was tired of being manipulated and gaslighted. I didn’t want to argue anymore. I didn’t want to hate.

I just wanted a real conversation.

Not a shouting match. Not a lecture. Not pre-formed opinions from talking heads and YouTube “experts”. I just wanted thoughtful, honest dialogue with the people around me. The kind that makes you stop and think and explore—not just react.

That’s what led me to create Age of Enlightenment.

This game was born out of a need to push back. To reclaim the kind of conversations that actually matter—conversations that challenge, that dig deeper, that remind us we’re all still thinking, questioning, and evolving human beings. I designed Age of Enlightenment to do just that:

To inspire a new generation of freethinkers.

The game is simple: draw a card and talk. The prompts are tough, open-ended, and designed to stir something in you. There’s no right answer. No timer. Just you, the people around you, and the freedom to explore real ideas again.

This isn’t just a game. It’s a rebellion against passive thinking.

It’s a revolt against the noise—against being told what to think.

Let’s break free together.

Let’s usher in a new Age of Enlightenment.
